Geography awarded SGQM from the Geographical Association, 2019-2022

The Geography department are delighted to have been awarded the Geographical Association’s Secondary Geography Quality Mark 2019-2022. We are proud to have received this prestigious award for the third time in the last nine years.

The SGQM is an award that recognises quality and progress in geography leadership, curriculum development and learning and teaching in schools.

The Geographical Association provided extremely complimentary feedback, which stated ‘It is great to see a department that continues to strive for a high-quality geography education, and is so committed to helping students achieve excellent examination results for their next steps. Your data illustrates exceptional outcomes for your students, reflected through your Progress 8 scores and GCSE attainment figures.’
