Year 10 Work Experience: June 2027
Work experience is an exciting opportunity for our Year 10 pupils to step beyond the classroom and experience the world of work first-hand.
During their placement, pupils will have the opportunity to:
- Develop an understanding of the workplace and learn about the expectations, responsibilities and behaviours valued by employers.
- Explore future career options and gain a better understanding of different industries, roles and pathways.
- Develop confidence and independence by taking on new challenges and experiencing a professional working environment.
- Build valuable employability skills, including communication, teamwork, organisation, problem-solving and time management.
- Gain a greater understanding of themselves, their strengths, interests and aspirations for the future.
Work experience is an important part of our pupils’ personal and careers development, helping them to connect what they learn in school with the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.
