Mental Health and Wellbeing

We’re proud to be an accredited Youth Sport Trust Well School (4*), demonstrating our commitment to wellbeing in education!
A Well School places just as much emphasis on health and wellbeing as it does on academic performance. It understands that children and young people are more effective learners when they are happy and healthy, and that staff are better educators when they are genuinely supported. Well Schools take care of the health and wellbeing of their pupils and staff to create a culture which allows everyone to reach their potential.
At Greenbank, your mental health and overall wellbeing are a top priority. We are committed to promoting positive wellbeing for every student and ensuring that support is available whenever it’s needed. Life can bring challenges, and we want you to know that you never have to face them alone.
We’ve gathered a range of trusted resources to help you look after your mental health and wellbeing. In addition, you are always welcome to speak to any member of staff or one of our trained Wellbeing Ambassadors. These ambassadors represent every year group and can be easily identified by the blue badge on their blazer, or their pink lanyard.  They are approachable, understanding, and ready to listen.
Our aim is to create a school environment where every student feels safe, supported, and valued. We offer a number of internal resources to guide you through your unique journey at Greenbank. Please click the links below to explore more information about each resource.
